little steps
This week is a week of pushing through and getting the work done even if I am feeling tired, run down and not in the zone. After every workout I feel so much better than I did going into it, and remembering that feeling is what is keeping me going day in and day out towards my goals. I realized a long time ago that there is not one moment in time that things click and you wake up realizing that you have arrived. You are always someplace on the journey. This week I am focusing on little steps and not the longer road ahead. Monday I spent 2 hours at the gym, 1 hour working out with my trainer, then another hour in yoga as I was so tight that I had to modify a lot of the exercises my PT was having me do. Some of the little steps that are adding up quicker than I thought have been in the area of my strength for body work. I am able to do strict pushups now, the correct way, both wide and narrow.
